Life is pretty amazing. I live in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains with my amazing husband, our black labs Shadow and Brady, our nine chickens, and my horse, Sue. I love riding, spending time with my family, and just about any activity that gets me outside.

I stumbled upon your blog and noticed you were doing 26 random acts of kindness for the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy. I live in Newtown, CT and wanted to thank you for your efforts! I also wanted to see if you would promote or just participate in the Charlotte Bacon Act of Kindness Awards. My very good friends Aaron and Christi Carlson with assistance from the Bacon family (Charlotte was a victim) have started an ACT OF KINDNESS CONTEST for KIDS!! I’m trying to spread the word about Newtown Kindness and Charlotte’s award.
I dont know if you would consider helping me promote the contest on your blog or within your community but I thought I would ask. If you would simply just prefer to enter the contest that’s fantastic too!
Thanks for listening and thank you for keeping my community in your heart! I have no words to express the grief that I feel, I have a 2nd grader here in Newtown and now I hug her even more tightly every day before and after school.
